Our elegant red and white Nova has all the qualities we admire in a whippet: excellent temperament, impeccable movement, sweepy lines, and a gorgeous expression.  Always a stand-out, he completed his championship from the puppy class. Nova's specials career began on his second birthday. He celebrated by winning back-to-back BOB's and his first Group 2 at the Chicago International cluster. 
In limited showing, he accumulated over 50 Breed wins and numerous group placements.  Nova won an award of merit at the Westminster Kennel Club show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  He was ranked by Canine Chronicle as a top-ten whippet in the USA during 1999.  Nova's success has been especially thrilling as he has always been owner-handled.

Nova, already a champion at just one year of age, he competed in the Futurity at the AWC National in San Diego in April 1998.
